32nd Annual Gateway Classic

The 32nd Annual Gateway Classic will kick off the 2019 boomerang season May 25th and 26th in beautiful Waterloo, Illinois. I may change the field this year, as I found a sweet spot out behind Waterloo High School with no mondo-tall trees waiting to suck in 55 meter Aussie Round booms or wayward MTAs! The rest of the weekend should look familiar: Saturday painting and practice followed by food and beverage at my place; then the tourney on Sunday followed by more food and beverage at my place, along with some awards. As always, this is a very laid-back tourney, which makes it the perfect weekend for any new throwers to come out and try their hand at a tournament, knowing they will be well-coached and supplied with booms throughout the day!
